I just watched this guy Jaz Ellington “winning” the last spot on Will.i.am’s team in The Voice UK. Watching the whole clip about Jaz – the story of him talking about what singing gospel means to him (“sharing what you believe in”) followed by him brining down the house with his version of “The A Team” I had a revelation; sharing is different from giving! Jaz embodies sharing – you feel it in your heart. And that was even before he was asked by Jessie J to sing something more, which made him share “Ordinary People” from the bottom of his heart, which in its turn sparked Will.i.am to share from his heart when he brought us his comments and feedback on the performance. When you share you stand in and with whom you are, Jaz was showing me tonight. You feel and you know what you have, you honour your gift and your presence here and you share it!
